Your library card can now be used to borrow passes to several area museums and attractions.
The passes grant reduced or no cost admission to the sites. Available passes include the following.
NYS Empire Parks pass provides unlimited day use and vehicle entry to most facilities operated by New York State Parks and State Department of Environmental Conservation including forests, beaches, trails, and more. This pass will save you the $6 – $10 day use entry fee in 2023.
The Wild Center, Tupper Lake pass admits 4 youths (ages 5-17) plus up to 2 adults for $10 per adult. A group of 2 adults and 4 youth can save $78 in entrance fees by using its Mannsville Library pass.
The Children’s Museum of Oswego weekly family membership pass provides admission for up to 5 individuals living in one household. (All children must live in the same household.) The Mannsville Library pass saves you up to $55 per group.
The versatile Onondaga County Parks Explore Outdoors Pass grants free access to Beaver Lake Nature Center, Jamesville Beach Park, and Oneida Shores park. It also allows up to 4 visitors to enter Pratt’s Falls Park, Highland Forest Park, and Rosamond Gifford Zoo–all for free! Depending on which park you go to, the Mannsville Library pass will save you anywhere between $2 and $45 per outing.
The Antique Boat Museum Library Discovery pass grants general admission and La Duchesse tour to 2 adults for $7 each and 4 children (up to age 17) for free. This can amount to a savings of $78 per group of adults and children.
